This study aims to assess whether breast cancer risk is associated with different types and durations of hormone replacement therapy (HRT).
Through implementing a nested case-control study on two UK primary care databases, the study found the breast cancer risk level varies between different types of HRT, with higher risks for combined treatments and for longer duration of use.
Evidence from this study should help you and your patients identify the most appropriate HRT formulation and treatment regimen.
